Rights to Light

Right to light is an easement in law that entitles long-standing owners of a property with windows a right to maintain the level of illumination.

The practice for assessing right to light issues is described in Government advice and within the RICS guidelines. At Encompass, we are able to provide the necessary surveying expertise to identify and report on any right to light concerns.
